I'm kind of surprised that you could hear any DX on that FREQ, since 27.025MHz is CB CH6, a.k.a. The Superbowl. (And, it's called that for a reason.) So, good catch on your part.

The best two statements of advice that I've ever gotten are from my brother-in-law in the early 1990's. 1st one, when I bought a used '89 Olds Cutless, my bro-in-law said, "Congratulations!!!
