Bozo Radio is an occasionally heard pirate radio transmission that parodies Jay Smilkstein, a SWL noted for bizarre on-air calls to WBCQ owner Allan Weiner, and for being a notable strange personality at the annual SWL Fest. Several shortwave pirate operators have run shows attributed to Bozo Radio, including Kracker and James Brownyard. Bozo Radio has been noted on FM at the Winterfest.
