Bicycling today, brought a portable in the handlebar bag. Found a spot in a pasture about 8 miles from home with portable and random wire, near a McMansion development that used to be one of the largest ranches in Texas.

0045z Mushroom Head Radio ID, chatter about heavy metal, album cover art, doing short show tonight
0048z Metallica, Enter Sandman
0056z AC/DC live Highway to Hell, off mid-song, Mushroom Head op chattering, shout-out to Dick Weed.
0119z op "Turn all your controls all the way to the right."
0139z still chugging along with a great signal, no fades here, well over the usual static crashes

Some zipper noise corresponding with op voice, but not music. Maybe reverb setting?

I thought that was Ol' Shroom Head. Better audio than the last time I heard him, nice, wide,and loud. He must have ball peened that computer. About a 555 and an easy S-10 plus on the Westminster,MD Kiwi w/ the 58 ft. TFD. Playing the lesser version of AC/DC. All my Aussie friends say the Bon Scott version is the best, I agree.
