Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using a Hermes Lite 2 with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet.

There's something in there barely above the noise on the Westminster, MD. KIWI w/ 500 ft. beverage aimed at Europe @2:36 utc. with a male announcer and echo effects. It sounds like a commercial station.

Playing pop music at 2:44.

Much better on the 250ft. V beam from Westminster,MD. If you're a QSL chaser this is a good chance of picking up one from a Europirate. Audio is low on the announcements.

Playing electronic dance music and now the Cure. If it wasn't for some OTHR interference, this one would be a solid 333, damn good for a Euro running limited power.

They do make it to the east coast very well. Rumour has it they run 15 watts! Unfortunately for me reception is impossible this far west (even on KiwiSDR’s in British Columbia with better antennas and lower noise than here not even a carrier shows up). I have sent in two reception reports and not heard back, and I haven’t heard of anyone else hearing from them either  :-\

I ran 14 watts of powerful AM carrier from well inland and reached Western Europe several times. The first time I heard of a SDR was from a student at the University of Twente early in the first decade of this century who heard me. He was interested in the Grenade transmitter which happened to be what I was using. He'd been looking at a schematic for it on the 'net. I filled him in on a couple of parts details and he built his own. He was the first guy I encountered that realized that it was a Class E design.
