Sorry to say, but the signal strength and audio quality absolutely suck compared to before the change in antenna and mode.

I agree, Satan Sideband sucks (for the most part anyway, MRI does a good job with SSB audio).

Just checked the prop....foF2 is down to around 4 mhz on the east coast and 5 mhz across the midwest. Long skip is in play this evening.

I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise. We will switch to the G5RV at 09:45 EDT (01:45 UTC) and then back to vertical at 10:00 EDT (02:00UTC).  Both will be marked by 5 seconds of silence.
