Hartvig list of European Private Shortwave Stations
« on: November 05, 2022, 0509 UTC »
It has been requested in the past that the official (HFCC) list of European, Private Shortwave Stations be put somewhere on the HFU where it is easily seen by listeners. Below is the list of such stations, which will be replaced with the current one monthly. You can write to shn@wmr.dk and request you receive this list in an email monthly if you want to.

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A for SWL with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet. Kenwood TS-570D for ham use.

Good and very useful list, but drawn by the private Hartvig Media group.
From the best available sources, but some inaccuracies or omissions are always possible.

The June 1st 2024 is the final list according to Stig Hartvig Nielsen who compiles it.

In his email he said: "Thank you for subscribing to the monthly pdf list of European, private shortwave radio stations.

Please find attached the June 1st  2024 edition, and please notice that this is my final edition of the list. Unfortunately – the truth is that most of the Shortwave stations didn’t want to cooperate.

Moreover several frequencies are utilised on an entirely erratic basis making it meaningless to try and publish broadcasting hours for the different frequencies.

Best regards, good listening, and thanks for your subscription in the past,

Stig Hartvig Nielsen"
