Very good reception, English service.  Round of 16 match between USA and The Netherlands.  Broadcast started at halftime.

The only exposure I had to high level soccer was via SW radio and the World Cup growing up. We had a local sportswriter who referred to it as "Commies running around in their underwear." His family's business did a lot of advertising in the papers, which is how he got his job.

As the three nearby teaching hospitals grew, we had more people from overseas attending them. His underwear line ticked someone powerful off, and that was goodbye to him.
