Tuned in at 2335 utc on Brookfield WI sdr with barely audible S6 signal,
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, CB antenna, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise. Got the WJAN ID. OM said he was tuning up the transmitter and getting into the archives to rack up some Christmas tunes. Then they will be back on air in a little.
