Recitations at 1255z. Bumper or similar at 1258z. SINPO 15442. Faint trace in -140dB waterfall, but strong enough modulation for a listenable copy with ECSS and headphones.

Verticals are great for receiving and transmitting. You can turn a standard dipole into a vertical by hanging it in an upright "L" shape with the feedpoint about 6-8 ft. off the ground. It matches up with 50 ohm coax with the feedpoint at that height. It was one of my main tools as a pirate. It went up fast and came down quicker.
The thing picked up signals 45 minutes earlier at a minimum before it would as a "V" or a standard dipole.
