S8 AM with fairly good audio. Sounds like the Supremes. Agreed my freq. set at 6956.5. Music off at 0200. no ID. Back on at 0210: S6 below noise. No audio heard. 0237: up to S7-S8 again some radio comedy show. Most of the dialogue at or just above noise. Freq: 6955 AM. Must be late 1950s: Shake, Rattle & Roll. Off again at 0250.

0227-OM talking? at 6955.25? Went to LSB just to try to pull the audio out. No luck.

Exact frequency was 6955.33 kHz but drifting a ton. S9 with the KFS Omni KiwiSDR but low modulation. Also S9 on the Northern Utah KiwiSDR. Only a weak carrier on the Raleigh, BC KiwiSDR.

Signal drifted down to 6954.8, then back up to 6955.0 at one point.

Started at S4, now S5 - 6, then back down to the static floor.

Gone at 0252.

Back about 0307 with Gracie Fields - didn't get the name of the first, "Three Coins in the Fountain".

Better than last at S5.

Yep, that's a Supremes song, specifically "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me". My sister and her friends were obsessed with them. If you've never seen a bunch of White pre-teen girls singing into hairbrushes pretending to be Black grown women, you've missed out on one of the funnier things in life.

Oops!, the record kept skipping at 03:36:15!   The last few minutes, reception has significantly deteriorated.  Still very acceptable, though!

0340 UTC: Very weak signal can just make out a man talking and back into music. Music has that operatic 30's/40's feel to it.

S-10 signal on the Northern Utah Kiwi. A sprinkling of SSB qrm. A woman singing the old Billy Eckstein classic "If I Didn't Care". (If you ever watched "Sanford & Son" you heard Red Foxx sing it while puttering around the house.) A song or so after that my connection to the SDR went "poof". Mostly female torch singers up until then. The modulation was a tad low for a big carrier like that.
