KIWI SDR freezing on Andriod

Across several android devices, both utilizing the KiwiSDR webpage and KiwiSDR Android app, the same thing always happens: the sound and waterfall freezes after a couple of minutes. 

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a known issue?

If you haven't yet, I would make this known on the KiwiSDR forum where the developer of the Kiwi can see it: https://forum.kiwisdr.com/index.php?p=/

I currently don't have any devices running Android so I cannot test it here. The Kiwi running current version v1.598 seems to be operating fine on my Apple devices.
