It was similar sounding to the tx I heard here, but this time didn't notice any Star Wars music.  That what I love about these late night catches - as JF said: 'You never know what goes bump in the middle of the night!'

Yes, I like these odd catches as well. One reason I run the SDR overnight, otherwise I'd miss a lot of these bumps in the night.

Recorder Catch on 6925USB

Heard an unid rap tune and also some noises which, depending on how I squint my ears, might be distorted mike audio or pesc splatter.  Just don't know.  Mostly very weak, a bit stronger during a portion of the rap.

@Echo_One

Recording overnight is a big part of the hobby for me.  Much as I would love to sit at the radio all night, at some point I just set up the recording and veg out with a book.  Going through the audio at lunch is a daily routine, and it can be a lot of work to parse the audio file and archive what you hear and prepare posts.

There is generally quite a bit going on in the night, even if you are recording a just single frequency as I do.  Some things are somewhat predictable, some things mysterious and weird.  You just never know until you scan your audio!

Many nights I will retune things around local midnight before racking out in hopes of catching SWBC DX if conditions seem favorable.
