Recorder Catch on 6925USB

Note sure exactly where this fits in; since it was heard towards the end of the Radio Echo One show, let's keep it here.  A collection of curiosities heard in the middle of the night in close proximity to one another.  Here's the audio:

http://www.mediafire.com/listen/3k8s26yi0xha5n5/Curiosities_6925USB_4Aug13_0443z.mp3

In the audio stream you can hear:

@0:00  RE1 closing announcements and ID
@0:30  feedback-like noise
@1:10  the Spooky Sound over GSTQ
@2:37  data-ish noise over GSTQ
@5:33  the Spooky Sound again
@6:30  feedback-like noise again
@8:27  the Wah-Wah, a new one here!

Fairly good signal.

Noted here as well

Checking the SDR recording...

04:47:22 Echo One went off, audio and carrier, allowing the Spooky Sound to be more easily heard
04:49:36 Feedback like noise
04:50:45 More feedback
04:52:30 jFarley's Wah Wah
04:53:05 All done?

BTW - The pescadores were active on 6925 LSB during this time, and they tend to bleed over to the USB. I could hear them, but what I noted above (and jFarley heard) does not seem to be from the LSB.

Recorder catch:

6925 USB

Also heard here - the sound effect at 04:45:47z is the one we've heard before during a period of 'sound effects' tx's that were logged awhile back.  Yep, I like the wah-wah at the end....now if only Hendrix had a Farley Wah back in the day :)

I'm listening to the recordings (didn't hear it myself at home).  I've heard similar stuff before - eerie sound fx, odd snatches of audio clips from movies, etc. - but never heard an ID.

In jFarley's recording I can hear a distorted version of "God Save the Queen" with a bit of speed/pitch shift and comb filter effect.  The feedback sound is following the rhythm of that music.

Dunno who it is but I dig these sorta audio oddities!

I was thinking "My Country, 'Tis of Thee" i.e "America" lol but "God Save The Queen" is good. Same tune.

I think the Radio Echo One show closed with God Save the Queen, so that could explain that audio.

I heard these sound effects again last night, around 0218 when I happened to quickly check the radio to see what was on. I posted a short thread about it here in Other: http://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,12039.0.html

I will update the post later this morning once I listen to the SDR recording.

Any suggestions as to where stuff like this should be logged? Pirate or Other?
