Tried several sdr's in usa but no carrier on waterfall.

Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, CB antenna, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise. OK. Sounding good on the Vermont SDR. Reception is actually better than 6880.  8)
At some point I will put up my antenna in my yard and turn on the radio behind me. I'm still working this afternoon and sunset isn't for another hour or so.
