Probably Sound of Hope Taiwan
Listening to Short and Medium Wave broadcasts since 1962 as a DXer. Nowadays I listen to 48 and 49 meters mainly for interesting stations. If you like to send me an EQSL my email is bkavana@yahoo.com

SOH is often jammed with CNR1 broadcasts rather than noise or The Firedrake, so unless you're certain, it's more likely CNR1. Though I'm trying to remember, Ron from California did say there's one frequency he usually finds clear of jamming, and this could be the one. Hopefully he sees this and chimes in.

Greetings from California!

My observations are that SOH on 6215 and 6280 kHz.(both somewhat on the low side) are very rarely jammed by
CNR1. On the other hand, SOH on 6230 is often jammed with CNR1 programming. I suggest if SOH is heard on
6280, then check for // 6215 and/or 6230.
