4060 this morning
« on: July 25, 2009, 1459 UTC »

Copied a beacon this morning on 4060  (~4059.937) at 1240 utc.  It was in for awhile, lots of QSB at first then got good copy then back to QSB and gone.  It is not sending "TR" but something else in morse code.  Which I will leave for you to copy!  If you can.  I will say it is a short message.  I thought this freq originated in Colo, but I now believe it comes from So. Calif after reviewing "The 4096's" page.

73, and Gud Dxing!

Thanks for the heads up...
actually these beacons could be used for simple
messages if the system goes down...
