Well, those who said it was likely a harmonic were right! Was able to establish // with 1610 (stronger than harmonic at NW Argentina SDR, but only fair) and ID 1050. Per Facebook station is in Catamarca, also NW Argentina.  All religious music.  More interesting than yet another Chinese station but way less interesting than a new Peruvian.

Big into SWDX late 70s through early 90s, then forgot about it and when I returned via SDRs it wasn't at all what I remembered, but I'll deal with it. Grumble, grumble. All SDRs acknowledged, nothing is from my own radio.
