Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using an SDRPlay RSP1A for SWL with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet. Kenwood TS-570D for ham use.

0037 strong into NE PA SDR, AM mode. 0040 may have switched mode since sidebands largely went away in display, but nothing in NBFM mode so who knows. Distorted announcement but I think they only ID'd as 6969...there was an email address which I missed. Frequency jumping around quite a bit.

Big into SWDX late 70s through early 90s, then forgot about it and when I returned via SDRs it wasn't at all what I remembered, but I'll deal with it. Grumble, grumble. All SDRs acknowledged, nothing is from my own radio.

Testing modulation types under different conditions. Nfm did shockingly well domestically even under rough conditions, but struggled internationally even with decent conditions. I was very surprised at how well NFM did overall, I might stick with that once I get my input levels properly attenuated.

Agree. Taking the lessons learned from this experiment and will try to apply them to future experiments. Quite literally made a shopping list while jumping between kiwis.

Very interesting playlist!

I'm glad to you found it interesting. I have almost 500 songs covered by different shortwave personalities that I hope can sound much better in the future once things are cleaned up significantly. This is by no means the finished product.

0102 UTC Genie In A Bottle   The audio sounds off, like it's been slowed down a bit.
It was a cover by brother stair. There's also songs by Hal Turner and Alex Jones that went out. There are also Glenn Hauser, Art Bell and Ted Randall covers that will eventually be played once things are cleaned up.

https://easyupload.io/kbrtsp here's the mp3 of that. It's one of the earlier AI covers I did with the brother stair model so it's a bit rough, but it gets the job done.

I’m hearing about the same as what Skip and others are logging. It’s a pretty good signal getting out. Thanks for the Monday nite tunes.
It's stupid but fun. I'm glad you enjoyed. Thanks for listening, and you're welcome. Hope to be back with much better sound slightly elsewhere soon.

The crazy bastard using a Yaesu FT-757 GXii to try to do pirate radio.

All logs are from local AirSpy HF+ Discovery with 200' longwire ~40ft up between two trees
