I was using the SDR console, yet I've had tuning issues with the dongle during my time running the software. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated !

There are numerous other competent SDR apps, from simple to those having a moderately high learning curve.

A couple of possible suggestions to start....

For Windows anyway, SDR# tends to be a popular favorite for the RTL-SDR crowd. I find it has some of the best SDR noise cancelling solutions as well.

The SDR# Big Book (linked on the same page) is also a pretty good reference guide for the software.

SDR++ is popular if wanting something moderately straightforward without hundreds of various configuration options. Another nice feature is it being available for multiple OS platforms.
