WW 4078.25 reports (Wild West)
« on: August 20, 2009, 1425 UTC »
A listener in Elgin, Oregon hears WW usually
at 1200utc but reported hearing it in daylight
here is the report e mailed to me.

1335 and still barely hearing WW in daylight. Pretty good.

So far since WW has been activated and into a center loaded whip
Steve in Ore is the only listener to hear it and  almost daily
WW is an interesting beacon to try to catch because it is 200Mw
in a mobile whip and most of the PIFERS use dipoles or half wave inverted
L antennas...

For the listener that likes challenges WW is there for you.
