What happened to user SIGINT?
« on: November 18, 2024, 0440 UTC »
I have always appreciated user SIGINT who logs many util stations regularly.  I haven't seen him here since July, I think.

Anyone hear anything about  him?

Thanks!

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using a Hermes Lite 2 with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet.

No reply so I searched a little more based upon his name and map grid. Sadly he has passed away.

I'm sorry to see this. I've had a few conversations with SIGINT over my relatively short time here. My condolences to his family and friends.
Receiver: Unlisted KiwiSDR configured to 3-channel wideband mode.
Ant: Homemade "Wellgood" 1m amplified loop normally kept in a fixed position (NNW/SSE) to keep 1500 KSTP in the null.
