[Quasar]

Seeing a decent S8 signal, but local interference is killing the audio end of it.

[sternradio666]

Does anyone notice a difference using a C-QUAM demodulator? It sure seems like I can hear the difference and that there is something resembling stereo.  I'm not sure the level of separation expected from the system.

Band conditions are shitty tonight.

[sternradio666]

Shuffled down to 6932 kilocycles. Avoiding licensed users of said spectrum.

[elburndx]

S9+30 signal

0318 Only Happy When It Rains - Garbage

S6 to S7 here in Hope BC Canada but rarely rising above the noise

[Molvania Poacher]

SINPO=45444, a bit noisy, but a powerful signal and clear audio overcome it easily.

357- OM and YL speaking back and forth in German.
357- "Red Alert" by Epsilon Minus.

[Professor]

S9+ Very solid signal with very good audio here
0435 Signal has dropped dramatically into the noise.

[TheHappyWanker]

0445 UTC S7 in the noise here

[canswl]

Nice solid signal tonight into Masset at 04:35 tune-in.
Radioactivity (by Kraftwerk) at 04:38.
Glass by Unto Ashes at 04:45   (marred by a brief digital signal).
Always interesting music from Sternradio!    73,  Walt

04:52   Moved to 6931.6 (at least I presumed it's Sternradio still).  Now fair.  Just before the switch there was someone on 6935.5 with a very strong carrier.  On, then off, then on for longer, then off again while Stern was still playing.  Then Stern left 6932, and presumably shifted down.

04:59   Put Your Trust In Me by Neuroactive
05:07  Sternradio ID with their outlook.com email address for QSL (eventually!)
05:08  The Wait by Killing Joke
05:28   "Transmitter is smoking.  Smoking will kill you"
06:18  ID and email address in English, then German.  Concluding their broadcast.  Into a fanfare  (Nsk, by Laibach)
06:22:30   OC then a sound like a zipper, and off.  Thanks for a most enjoyable show tonight!   Good night, from off the NW coast of North America.

I tried QAM mode on my Masset Kiwi and it sounds pretty darned good, despite the rather weak signal now (04:56) on 6931.6   Certainly a lot better than side band or AM mode, and better than SAM.    73,  Walt
