U.S. Truckers or Logging Trucks 25.705 MHz AM
« on: February 21, 2025, 1942 UTC »
Received on the W3HFU SDR with the 900 foot sky loop antenna.  Frequency 25705 kHz AM.  25,705 AM 25.7050 MHz AM.  Two OMs talking about tire pressure (no, seriously), spare tires and other topics.  Sounds like they are pretty close to each other, talking about roads, very informal QSO, likely two guys running export radios for local comms.  Since one of the two stations is pretty far off (25707.8 kHz!) I am including the carrier frequencies.  Yep, its truckers - they're talking about picking up deliveries, loads, etc..  At 1942 UTC, heard one trucker say "I dunno when I'm gonna go to Buffalo"

25707.8 kHz
25705.2 kHz

First tuned in at 1940 UTC.  Had to set receiver to regular AM mode.  AMN is too narrow considering how off-frequency the one guy is.
U.S. East Coast, various HF/VHF/UHF radios/transceivers/scanners/receivers - land mobile system operator - focus on VHF/UHF and 11m
