Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?

0103 Even with an impressive S9+10 signal it is competing with a utility that is just below it slightly.
0105 I was able to switch antennas and null out the offending ute and now the Captain is in the clear.
0116 Blues continue and the signal is now occasionally touching on S9+20.

Weak signal into southern Illinois tonight  SINPO 23333

0102 tuned in to music in progress

I can hear music but can't make out the lyrics.

0106 "This is Captain Morgan Shortwave" in male voice, then repeated in female voice.
0106 music continues... sounds like Blues
0110 "Captain Morgan Shortwave" over the music
0111 station ID with email address then back to music
0122 "This is Captain Morgan Shortwave" in male voice, then repeated in female voice
0122 music continues
0129 Signal has deteriorated, just audible over the noise now.  Too bad, I have enjoyed the music!
0133 station ID over the music
0135 "This is Captain Morgan Shortwave" in male voice, then repeated in female voice
0135 music continues
0139 sounded like station ID with email address, but I'm not sure.

then OTA

Thanks for the great music tonight!
