Fair with noise via the Atwater, Ohio, SDR ...

0013 UTC: "Heart of Glass" by Blondie.
0014 UTC: YL voice on the mic with Radio Marlene ID into "Roam" by The B-52's.
0018 UTC: YL voice with email address, then "Manic Monday" by The Bangles.
0021 UTC: YL voice: "You're listening to Radio Marlene broadcasting in the pirate radio band," then "Fast Car" by Tracy Chapman.
0026 UTC: YL voice with ID and "there's no stopping the party" into "Bad Girls" by Donna Summer.
0031 UTC: YL voice: "Alrighty, then," some more comments lost in the noise, and then "Missionary Man" by Eurythmics (loved this album as a 16-year-old).
0035 UTC: SSTV transmission; much of the image got jumbled in the noise.
0036 UTC: Off.

Thanks Radio Marlene!

VG signal in static. Tuned in during Blondie "Heart of Glass" Into a YL announcer with a UKish accent with clear ID who said R. Marlene hadn't been on the air since 2011? I think I misheard that because I thought that was around when R. Marlene started

Heard from 0007 UTC sign on with Bananarama "Cruel Summer", on the SDR recording. Generally a very good SIO 444 signal here with some static, great to hear Radio Marlene again!
