SDRplay RSP2/RSPdx  w/SDRuno or SDRconnect SW ; N-S 43M Dipole /  Disclaimer: Shazam/Sound-Hound used to ID many songs.

Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?

0230  "Just the two of us" ~ George Washington Jr.
Multiple "Mix Radio International Worldwide"   IDs

Peaking 10 over S-9 on HFU SDR, strong audio

0320.... still going strong, now listening from an Arizona SDR---
strong signal and audio there too, but less than the eastern half of the continent...
noise is more competitive here... signal only about S-6 but massive audio for that level of signal

Pretty amazing reception levels...

Audible carrier but only weak traces of audio directly out here near Seattle. Fair to good reception (S5-S7) with some static crashes via the Northern Utah SDR ...

0210 UTC: Parody ad for "Civil Service" game, then multiple IDs and a jingle for Radio 48 and MRI.
0212 UTC: "Situation (Remix)" by Yaz/Yazoo.
0214 UTC: Multiple IDs again into "Turn It Out" by Jordan Nocturne.
0219 UTC: YL-voiced IDs for Radio 48 and MRI into "Need You Tonight (Luca Debonaire & Kiki Doll Remix)" by INXS.
0224 UTC: IDs into "Crash Into Me (this also sounds like a remix of the original)" by Dave Matthews Band.
0230 UTC: IDs into a song Shazam's having difficulty recognizing, but it includes remixed bits of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean."
0237 UTC: YL-voiced Radio 48 ID, then MRI ID into "Dirty Cash (Money Talks)" by PAWSA & The Adventures of Stevie V.

Thanks for the music on this Saturday night!
