The station you heard is called "Estacion 4940" Located in Southwest Venezuela near Colombian border.  I wrote an article about this station awhile back and you can read it on my webpage:  http://www.swlqslmuseum.com/Estacion4940/

The station has a great signal into SW Florida

To my knowledge the only remaining Peruvians are 4775 Radio Tarma, 4810 Radio Logos, and 4820 Radio Senda Cristiana, and maybe Radio Cultural Amauta 4955 if they fix their antenna. I think the last one to go off before that was 5025 Radio Quillabamba and since they still mention shortwave on the web page, I have just emailed them to see if they have any intentions of reviving it. I'm going to wager no :)

Big into SWDX late 70s through early 90s, then forgot about it and when I returned via SDRs it wasn't at all what I remembered, but I'll deal with it. Grumble, grumble. All SDRs acknowledged, nothing is from my own radio.

I've heard all of those too!  4820 2 or 3 times, logos once or twice.. Tarma is kinda regular under CODAR if you know when to tune in
