Radio Free Euphonia 6950 AM 0258 UTC 22 MAY 2025
« on: May 22, 2025, 0301 UTC »
Weak carrier with a bit of music direct. Still the best reception I have had of this station direct.

Short and strong transmissions over it on 6950 USB at 0259 and 0300, didn’t catch what. Listening to 6935 but I got a recording of the SSB at 0304, I’ll check the recording later. Heard again at 0306, guy with feedback testing a few times, then a response of “copied, over”. CFARS test? Gone for a while then tests with two stations resuming at 0318 UTC.

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using a Hermes Lite 2 with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet.

0310  "Stairway to the stars" ~ Glenn Miller
0316 "Somewhere over the rainbow" cover by Glenn Miller with a male vocalist
0320 "We can live on love" ~ Marion Hutton on vocals, with Glenn Miller orchestra  (thanks shazam!)

Best signal in Traverse City Michigan, of the SDRs I checked,
but signal is much stronger than the audio on all--- maybe solar blackout interference.

Signal S-9 to 10 over in TC.

Thanks for the late-night show!

Fair reception at 03:22 tune-in and noted the co-channel,  "3-2-1 out" and "test".  Much stronger than Radio Free Euphonia.  Quite a lot of static tonight.  But still another 80 minutes until LSS in Masset.
0325:  It's a Blue World  by Glenn Miller

I, too, had a trace signal during the time frames reports here, but even with considerable narrowing of the bandwidth was unable to pull anything out of the signal.
