Pretty good S8-S9 signal with relatively low noise being heard via the Fair Hill, Maryland, SDR ...

2053 UTC: Orson Welles narrating the Mercury Theatre on the Air's "War of the Worlds" broadcast.
2100 UTC: "War of the Worlds" broadcast continuing, this time dramatizing air strikes on the alien structures.
2108 UTC: "War of the Worlds" continues with musical interlude and more narration from Orson Welles.
2118 UTC: "War of the Worlds" continuing, somewhat near the end now.
2124 UTC: Orson Welles concluding the broadcast with his disclaimer that was meant to calm people (it didn't work everywhere - including in Concrete, Washington, not too far from me).
2126 UTC: Male-voiced TRI ID, which included the wrong frequency (I'm assuming the ID was recorded for a previous broadcast), then off.
