How does Throbbing Gristle sound in SAS mode?  This is usually one of the better stereo separated tunes I play, but QRN is a little high this evening on the remotes I usually monitor, but I can still hear the slapping going off in the one channel.

Saw a bunch of distortion on the waterfall, looked over, plate current was bouncing around like a stripper's tits.  Fuse blew shortly afterwards.  Hrmph.  Things smell, *hot*.  But that might just have been a the glitch resistor cooking itself before things got out of hand.

This is what you get for using 1970s Japanese gear as an exciter

Fuse replaced.  Had to pick out all of the bits of glass from the exploded fuse.  All tubes seem fine.  I think the exciter has a VHF oscillation problem.  There is a reason I put in a big fat 20ohm resistor on the B+ to stop this crap.  Transformer isn't kaput, fuses are cheap!

0200 on Barrington Hills IL sdr with weak S5-S7 signal, independent sideband stereo, heavy metal rock at low noise level, at 0205 switched to Traverse City MI sdr with fair S9+10 to +20+ signal, heavy metal and death metal rock, at 0333 ID on waterfall, off suddenly at 0349.
