« on: September 20, 2009, 0700 UTC »
Wolverine Radio continuing pattern of theme shows with all music by The Clash, other than opening song by Barenaked Ladies.  SINPO - 42323.  (N. Central TX)
9/20/09
6925 USB
0128z: Opened with Barenaked Ladies "Testing 1-2-3"
0130z: Wolverine Radio ID
0131z: Clash "This is Radio Clash"
0135z: Clash "Train in Vain"
0138z: Clash "Police On My Back"
0141z: Voice segue between songs, not completely intelligible here
0146z: Clash "Brand New Cadillac"
0149z: More Clash, instrumental with dub beat ("Guns of Brixton"?)
0151z: Wolverine Radio ID
0151z: "Lost in the Supermarket"
0155z: Deep fade, but can copy "London Calling"
0159z: "Spanish Bombs", barely audible now
0206z: "Rock the Casbah" audible after fadeout of several minutes
0209z: "Should I Stay or Should I Go", rapid fluttering fades
0213z: "Lover's Rock"
0216z: Wolverine Radio ID w/ echo fx
0216z: SSTV of Clash "London Calling" album art, one of the coolest rock album covers.

Thanks, Wolverine, very enjoyable.

SINPO - 42323.  Good signal through noise and fades.  Wolverine has very distinctively punchy audio, cuts right through even with poor conditions.  Not sure but might have been some unintentional QRM with KAOS, already in progress on 6925.  KAOS had faded to barely audible here in Texas, but seemed to be two stations on simultaneously around 0128z.

Both Scottie 1 mode:

That li'l ol' DXer from Texas
Unpleasant Frequencies Crew
Al: Palstar R30C & various antennae
Snoopy: Sony ICF-2010
Roger: Magnavox D2935
(Off-air recordings.)
