Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?

S9+ signal heard via the Fair Hill, Maryland, SDR with decent audio but noticeable noise and slight fading ...

2303 UTC: "Gone Hollywood" by Supertramp. RIP to band co-founder Rick Davies.
2304 UTC: "The Logical Song" by Supertramp (love this song!).
2308 UTC: "Goodbye Stranger" by Supertramp (also a good tune!).
2311 UTC: The signal strength is faltering a bit amid rising noise on the frequency.
2312 UTC: Well, something just happened, because the signal and audio both just improved suddenly.
2314 UTC: OM on the mic (Thunder Chicken?) mentioned he's paying tribute to Rick Davies, then "Breakfast in America" by Supertramp.
2317 UTC: "Oh Darling" by Supertramp.
2321 UTC: "Take the Long Way Home" by Supertramp (I very much loved this song as a kid).
2325 UTC: "You Started Laughing (Live)" by Supertramp. The signal and audio are staying strong, but the noise levels continue to rise.
2329 UTC: "It's Raining Again" by Supertramp.
2334 UTC: As "My Kind of Lady" by Supertramp, Thunder Chicken said "cluck, cluck, cluck" and talked about Rick Davies again as the song played.
2340 UTC: "Don't Leave Me Now" by Supertramp.

Thanks, Thunder Chicken, for playing Supertramp today to honor Rick Davies. This band's underrated these days, in my opinion.
