on 6850 USB     direct
0001 Shadows, then "Apache" by ?
0007 Johnny & the Hurricanes
probably via MRI

0030 now badly disturbed by noisy (digi) UT here in Europe
>>> that Stanag is also reported at times or places in the replies below, TIME TO MOVE ?

[Treehouse SWL]

Good S10+ signal heard via the Fair Hill, Maryland, SDR with good audio over moderate noise levels ...

0000 UTC: "Wonderful Land" by The Shadows.
0001 UTC: "Apache" by Jørgen Ingmann.
0004 UTC: Female voice: "This is Instrumental Radio." She then gave the eQSL address of [email protected], then "Baja" by The Astronauts.
0006 UTC: "Beatnik Fly" by Johnny & The Hurricanes.
0009 UTC: "Bikini Drag" by The Pyramids.
0011 UTC: "It's a Bikini World" by The Boardwalkers.
0013 UTC: "Blues Theme" by Davie Allan & The Arrows.
0015 UTC: Female-voiced ID and eQSL email address given again, then "Pipeline" by The Chantays.
0018 UTC: "Out of Limits" by The Marketts.
0020 UTC: "Walk, Don't Run" by The Ventures. The signal's not getting out here where it's still daylight, but the Northern Utah SDR, also still in daylight, is getting barely audible music when I checked.
0022 UTC: "Penetration" by The Pyramids.
0024 UTC: "Wipe Out" by The Safaris (played this one in high school marching band so many times!).
0027 UTC: ID and email address given again, then "Exodus" by Ferrante & Teicher.
0030 UTC: "Harlem Nocturne" by The Viscounts.
* * * * *
0037 UTC: I'm still listening as I finish up work, but there's now a ute or other QRM just below this frequency that's throwing noise into the mix.

Thanks for all the vintage music, Instrumental Radio! Tunes like these remind me of walking around stores as a young child in the 1970s and hearing this type of music coming out of the store PA systems.

SDR recording catch. Great signal from 2349 UTC sign on, but QRM from a UTE starting around 0030 that even followed to 6875 kHz.

Thanks for the fun program!
