Radio GHZ 6950 USB 0118 UTC 20 SEP 2025
« on: September 20, 2025, 0118 UTC »
0118: music "Major Tom (Coming Home)" - Peter Schilling
0119: [3-4]5343
0130:[4-5]555[4-5]
0131: in progress "Super-Electric" - Stereolab
0134: "Fuererland" - Michael Rother
...
0211: in progress "Seeland" - Neuf
0211: "Summer Romance" - Incubus
0231: think I heard ID as "W-H-G-Z" phonetically (Might have the letters and letter sequence mixed up)

- addendum at 2039 UTC 20 SEP 2025: I heard a clear ID of "Radio G H Zed" (or "Zebra" instead of "Zed") at 0243 UTC 20 SEP 2025 and another time by a YL, but the HFU server was not responding at the time.

Thank you for the show!

0123 on Traverse City MI sdr with fair S9+10 to +20 signal, some noise, pop music,
Drake R8, Kenwood R-2000, Panasonic RF-4900, Sony 2010, Realistic DX440, Grundig Satellit 500, CB antenna, Mt Prospect, IL 20miles (32km) NW of downtown Chicago. I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise. williamhassig@yahoo.com
