Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?

Big S10+ signal via the Traverse City, Michigan, SDR with very good audio that's overpowering the static crashes on the band tonight ...

0114 UTC: "One of These Good Old Days" by Al Green.
0115 UTC: "Pressure" by Billy Joel.
0118 UTC: "Big Barn Red" by Paul McCartney & Wings.
0122 UTC: "On The Road Again" by Canned Heat.
0125 UTC: "Another Saturday Night" by Cat Stevens.
0128 UTC: "Run Through the Jungle" by Creedence Clearwater Revival.
0131 UTC: Sound clip of man saying "Your life may be short and dangerous," then WDEF ID in a robotic voice. That was followed by "Hernando's Hideaway" by Archie Bleyer.
0133 UTC: "Money" by Pink Floyd.
0140 UTC: "Us and Them" by Pink Floyd.
0146 UTC: "Any Colour You Like" by Pink Floyd.
0151 UTC: "Brain Damage" by Pink Floyd. Apparently, WDEF's just playing the second half of the "Dark Side of the Moon" album, which is fine by me!
0154 UTC: "Eclipse" by Pink Floyd.
0155 UTC: WDEF ID, then an Onion News clip.

Thanks for the program tonight, WDEF!

Music heard, not loud but steady and clear. I don't know the titles of these songs, but I love them. Great music. Thanks for the show.

Wait, wait....On the Road Again by Canned Heat.  Wow, it's been a long time since I've heard that tune.
