WANK 6938 LSB 0209 UTC 5 OCT 2025
« on: October 05, 2025, 0209 UTC »
0209: OM singing, can't ID, sounds jazzy
0214: OM talking, "Like Dreamers Do" - The Applejacks
45444
~0218: switch to USB? or AM ? or different station?  I hear something but can't really pin it down. Apparently off the air, but now seeing the (nearly) ever-present 6938 AM station that never has any modulation

Thank you for the show!

Songs are identified with Shazam if needed. I usually use KiwiSDR receivers. Reception from my QTH is using a Hermes Lite 2 with a 40 meter band Inverted V at 40 feet.

All reports given are direct from my station in NYC.

Poor in western New York, SIO 121

0218z   Huge het but virutally no sound, except for a touch of music.  It must be a big signal to produce a het like this, but audio is virtually non-existant!
