Saw this group here in Hamilton in the early 70's. After the show I went to the dressing room, knocked on the door and I was invited in by by no other than Mark Lindsay. Chatted with the group in length. Got to shake their hands. Had a new cassette of their greatest hits album with me and they all signed the cassette liner. Not just piece of History but a lot of sentimental value to me.

This band's from a bit before my time, but "Louie Louie," which both Paul Revere & The Raiders and The Kingsmen made into a hit, nearly became Washington's state anthem after a campaign to make it so. That unfortunately failed, but I still played that song so, so many times when I was in high school marching band just outside of Seattle.
