« on: October 21, 2025, 2219 UTC »
~S3 here

22:16z sign on with "..This is a test & tuning signal of tropical radio and telegraph station BZT located in Bluefields, Nicaragua.."
22:18z repeating calling ID
22:36z still going
22:39z "..all stations, all stations, all stations, tropical radio and telegraph station BZT Bluefields, Nicaragua will commence service to it's terrestrial subscribers starting at 18:30 hours.." & off (I'm guessing the 18:30 is 24hr EST(?) as 43m would be a challenge if UTC)

BZT 6950 USB 22:19z callup & 22:39z message 10-22-25

Fair and a bit down in the noise via the Fair Hill, Maryland, SDR ...

2224 UTC: Male voice calling out, with a clear BZT ID.
2225 UTC: Same guy with the same test announcement.
2226 UTC: This announcement seems to be happening about once per minute.
2227 UTC: Announcement again.

Tuned in at about 2226, fair/good with loop message. Fun to hear BZT again

[later] I went back to the recording to see if anyone caught the last announcement about commencing service to terrestrial subscribers at 18:30 hours, but I see that Sealord mentioned it. Will be interesting to see if it's on at 18:30 today
