Smash Radio Shortwave 6949 AM 0212 3/06/2014
« on: March 06, 2014, 0235 UTC »
Smash Radio came on the air right after Radio BlAH BLAH BLAH signed off. The signal is weak here with a lot of static but mostly playing music. Here is a SSTV image that was broadcast at the beginning of their program.

The SSTV image from the end of the broadcast.

0159 UTC Sudden change of ID? Lady announcer..."This is Smash Radio",into "Small Town Girl"-Journey(ooops actually it's Don't Stop Believing"
0205 UTC Smash Radio ID's into "Don't Fear the Reaper"-BOC
0210 UTC SIGNAL OBLITERATED BY UTILITY STATION! Damn....
{There seemed to be a continuous transition between end of Radio Blah, Blah, Blah and Smash Radio...above is a copy and paste of my Blah post from that point on}
After I turned my PC off, I listened further and today I listened to the tape. The UTILITY at 0210 was a SSTV from Smash Radio!
0215 UTC Man & Lady announcer with Smash Radio ID's, into "Living La Vida Loca"-Ricky Martin
0021 UTC Man announcer with Smash Radio Id, into SSTV again
0024 UTC UNID Song-Lady Singer
