Telling Lies In America, radio themed movie from 1997.

And now for something completely different, another movie with a radio station theme to it, and payola. In 1999, when I worked in TV, I ran the movie 'Telling Lies In America' from 1997. It bombed in the box office, but went straight to VID and television weekend movie runs. I dug running that at the time. Well, JG Tiger raved about watching American Graffiti on DVD. And, after watching that, it reminded me of Telling Lies In America, which has even a more 'radio station' theme, wrapped-around like 1962 Cleveland. Whelp, you can stream & watch it on TUBI.   https://tubitv.com/movies/282597/telling-lies-in-america   So, enjoy!!!!!!
UPDATE: So, maybe I should open this up to ask, what movie do you recommend that has a radio-theme to it, whether it be two-way, broadcasting, whatever? And, what streaming service can it be seen on? Thank you.

“I am often asked how radio works. Well, you see, wire telegraphy
is like a very long cat. You yank his tail in New York and he
meows in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? Now, radio is
exactly the same, except that there is no cat.”
-Attributed to Albert Einstein, but I ripped it from the latest Splatter .PDF March 2025 issue.
