...and they are pinning my S-meter at 20 db over 9 on the rice burner, no fades, fishermen, funny naval data, nuttin' but signal and great audio here in the west coast flatlands of the USA!  Per op Steve, this is a "Legacy Broadcast".  Thank you for the program etc., it has been sorta barren here in my logbook recently!

I can just hear them in the noise here in Ohio... can't get an ID and there is a lot of other junk on the frequency including a dat signal from time to time and a CW station at 560 hz too <sigh>

0338z KMUD CW ID - music in the background.  Only S4 in NH and pretty far down in the noise.
0348z Still hearing a bit of music. Signal has come up a bit but all the QRM on freq. makes copy difficult.

 I spent a miserable month in June 64 in the  ARMY in that desert.  
  QSL would be greatly appreciated here .
The Doors at 0410 'Quicksilver Messenger Service at0424 followed by Id
Neil Young at 0428 Id sounded like KMUD Radio then Leonard Cohen

Ever so weak here in KCMO. I do hear bits of audio & some CW as somebody mentioned. Listening back to recording on SDR.
