S9+ signal and good audio heard via the SDR in Fair Hill, Maryland, amid moderate noise levels and fading ...

0212 UTC: "Ball & Chain" by Big Brother & The Holding Company & Janis Joplin.
0217 UTC: "I Need a Man to Love" by Big Brother & The Holding Company.
0222 UTC: "Piece of My Heart" by Big Brother & The Holding Company.
0226 UTC: Female host talking about Janis Joplin and her style: "It's Gershwin via Port Arthur, Texas." After some more words about her singing style, "Summertime (Live)" by Big Brother & The Holding Company & Janis Joplin played at 0229 UTC.
0233 UTC: "Kozmic Blues" by Janis Joplin.
0237 UTC: Female host with ID and eQSL instructions, followed by "To Love Somebody" by Janis Joplin. The signal's weakening and the noise levels are increasing now.
0243 UTC: The music's just barely audible now as noise takes over.  :(

Thanks for all the Janis Joplin tunes tonight!

I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise. A good signal on the SDR recording, but static levels are definitely on the rise.
