Maybe they can crank up some broadcasts to the Middle East like NHK and the BBC have done.

I hope that VOA gets back on the air, but I won't hold my breath.

It's not just the Administration, no one in Congress seems to care about VOA. Sucks, but it is what it is.

If the makeup of Congress changes significantly during the midterm elections, I don't think things will change RE VOA.

They just just don't care about VOA. Both my senators are D and emails to them about VOA went unanswered. And I suppose one could add that the opposition party has more pressing concerns than VOA.

Sucks, not just for SWL's who care about VOA, but the listeners VOA had overseas. VOA was a positive American message overseas.
