4940   SAO TOME. VOA - Pinheira. Very weak signal at s/on 2030 for the 30 min Hausa news service on weekdays. Such a contrast when compared to the powerhouse signal which is 4930 VOA - Moepeng Hill on at the same time, Mar 18.

5005   EQUATORIAL GUINEA. R. TV de Guinea Ecuatorial - Bata. Weak signal at 2035 featuring fabulous jivey Afro dance music and occasional Spanish anncts. Best heard in USB due to TVI, and finally faded by 2055. Nice to hear this one again, not too regular here! Mar 18.

5905   GERMANY. RFE/RL - Lampertheim. NF (ex 6170) for Russian service, noted at 1935 and running // 7225 (also Lampertheim) which was stronger on Mar 18. This can also be heard with a good signal on the other // freq of 7460 via Iranawila.

6135   YEMEN. Yemen Radio - Sana'a. Can't be heard here till the Korean jammer switches off, which on Mar 18 was at 1858. This revealed a fair signal from the English service of Sana'a with several news items, then ID and address before s/off at 1900.
