SDRplay RSP2/RSPdx  w/SDRuno or SDRconnect SW ; N-S 43M Dipole /  Disclaimer: Shazam/Sound-Hound used to ID many songs.

Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?

0106 on Empire MI sdr1 with fair/good S9-S9+10 signal, independent sideband stereo, I'm using SAS setting on the sdr, pop music, not the usual heavy metal, dance and house music, I like this better, thanks, at 0231 ID on waterfall, off at 0236, nice program, thanks.

I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise. Feeling a little more downtempo this evening.  Been sort of all over the place genre wise.  Sometimes, it's nice to let the transmitter sparkle instead of grind ;)
