Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?

S7 to S9 signal with pretty good audio heard via the SDR in Shrewsbury, Vermont, amid quite a bit of noise again tonight ...

0003 UTC: "Do It Again" by Steely Dan.
0008 UTC: Male host: "This is Radio Mushroom." He then talked a bit about the control room and his antenna; it was a bit hard to hear through the noise.
0009 UTC: "Feel Like Makin' Love" by Bad Company.
0014 UTC: Host with ID and then answering the phone on the air. He said it's the governor. He "chatted" with the governor for a bit, saying he's wrapping up soon. The host then gave the email address ([email protected]).
0015 UTC: "White Room" by Cream.
0019 UTC: Host announced the ID and email address again into "Walk Away" by James Gang.
0023 UTC: The host said it's time to go; his control room's getting too warm. He then gave the email address again.
0024 UTC: Air raid siren and mushroom cloud explosion noise, then off.

Thanks for another broadcast, Radio Mushroom!
