Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?

S5 to S7 signal and pretty good audio heard via the SDR in Fork Union, Virginia, amid lots of static and noise ...

0053 UTC: "Psychedelic Shack" by The Temptations.

0100 UTC: "We Gotta Get Out of This Place" by The Animals.
0103 UTC: The military guy talks about how they'll be moving out in the moving, chats a bit more, then adds "stay tuned to VFO."
0104 UTC: "Waiting for the Sun" by The Doors.
0108 UTC: "Drift Away" by Dobie Gray.
0112 UTC: Instrumental version of "Taps" started as the host thanked listeners and then thanked troops who gave their all for the nation. "Over and out."
0113 UTC: Off.
