Mix Radio Intl 6165 (among others) 0220 UTC 22 APR 2026
« on: April 22, 2026, 0234 UTC »
UNID disco, originally heard on 6160 kHz at around 0220 UTC with Dianna Ross' "I'm Coming Out".  Barely audible at my location on the Alabama gulf coast, but better on SDRs in Austin, TX, Fort Collins, CO and Los Angeles.  Best signal so far is on one in North Carolina.

0230 - Love Pains - Yvonna Eliman

During this song, the carrier moved to 6170, then down to 6155. Great fidelity!

0235 - Golden Years - David Bowie
0244 - Mon Cherie Amour (album version? It had a different intro than what I've heard) - Stevie Wonder
0248 - MRI Mix Radio International ID during Stevie's song
0251 - What You Won't Do For Love - Bobby Caldwell
0255 - Fame - David Bowie

0225  'I'm Coming Out' - Diana Ross, moved to 6170U w/ 'Love Pains Extended 12" version), 0230 jumped to 6165U mid song, 0332 signal fades & comes partially back up, 0244 'Soaking Hour (Deep Soaking Worship Instrumentals)' - Ed Manuel Tv, 'My Cherie Amaour' - Stevie Wonder, 0248 ID mid song.

S5 signal in generally quiet conditions.

Listening via the SDR in Fork Union, Virginia, which is receiving an S7 signal and good audio ...

0238 UTC: "Golden Years" by David Bowie.
0244 UTC: "My Cherie Amour" by Stevie Wonder.
0248 UTC: Female-voiced Mix Radio International ID while the Stevie Wonder song was going on.
0250 UTC: Very-produced MRI ID into "What You Won't Do for Love" by Bobby Caldwell.
0254 UTC: "Fame" by David Bowie. The station's audible out at the Northern Utah SDR, but I'm only hearing trace bits of audio at my location northeast of Seattle.
0301 UTC: Male-voiced MRI ID, followed by "Fire" by Ohio Players.
0305 UTC: Signal just jumped down to 6135 USB.
0309 UTC: "Every Breath You Take" by The Police.

Thanks for the music down in the 49-meter band tonight, MRI!
