SDRplay RSP2/RSPdx  w/SDRuno or SDRconnect SW ; N-S 43M Dipole /  Disclaimer: Shazam/Sound-Hound used to ID many songs.

Well, it's come to this: It's midnight and I'm listening to a heavy metal cover version of "The Wheels On The Bus Go Round and Round" on pirate short wave radio on Sternradio. Is life great, or what!?

A noisy, fadey S7 to S9 (at moments) here in metro DC. A bit of antenna-tuning and filter adjustment took the station down to an S5 but improved the listening quality somewhat. I rarely have to apply this much knob noodling ...

Hunter of jammers, pirates and numbers.

Newly acquired ICOM 7300 MK2, newer-still Malahit DSP2, and an old workhorse Magnavox (Philips) D2999 that I can't quit. Receive-only with a new outdoor K-480WLA, backed up by an indoor MLA30+.  ... I'll continue to sort the rest as I go -- planning my own external antenna array.
