Listening via the SDR in Shrewsbury, Vermont, which is receiving an S9ish signal with pretty good audio amid moderate noise levels and fading at times ...

2353 UTC: "Destination Venus" by The Rezillos.
2355 UTC: Female-voiced ID over instrumental techno music: "You're listening to Hobby Broadcasting Radio." She then talked about the DX show coming up and gave the email ([email protected]) and Blue Ridge Summit, Pennsylvania, mailing address.
2359 UTC: Host Andrew Yoder then started talking and started introducing clips from pirate station recordings, starting with The Cosmonaut System back in April.
0000 UTC: Andrew then talked about Ballsmacker Radio and introduced a clip of its broadcast on April 4.
0002 UTC: Host talked about hearing WAVE Radio and introduced a short recording clip of that station.
0003 UTC: Andrew gave an ID again and thanked listeners who tuned in and wrote in back in March. He then quoted some of the correspondence he received.
0005 UTC: Andrew talked about Liquid Radio and introduced a clip of that station from April 5.
0007 UTC: Andrew talking about Liquid Radio and Band-Aid Radio clashing on a frequency and playing a recording of that.
0008 UTC: Host giving the ID again and talking about finding old radios at sales, including one of his recent finds.
0009 UTC: Andrew talking about Wolverine Radio and playing an April 5 clip from that station.
0010 UTC: Host giving ID again and talking about test broadcasts from Subterranean Radio. He then talked about Mix Radio International's widely heard signal and played recordings of the station made April 4 from SDRs in different countries.
0014 UTC: Andrew talking about hearing Pop Shop Radio, and then he played a recording of it.
0015 UTC: Host talking about the history of The Crystal Ship station and then playing a clip of its April broadcast.
0016 UTC: Andrew wrapping up, wishing 73s, and then closing music. The female-voiced announcer gave contact information again.
0019 UTC: Off.

Thanks for another great program, Andrew!

I have been using online receivers because my 7mhz dipole came down in a storm and after my stroke on 3 June 2024 I can no longer get up on a ladder to fix it. Also too much neighborhood noise.
